UNAUTHORIZED MESSAGE DISTRIBUTED VIA THE ECFMG REPORTER

As you may know, an unauthorized message was sent to subscribers of The ECFMG Reporter on February 1. ECFMG regrets the distribution of this unauthorized, and clearly irrelevant, content and apologizes to subscribers for any inconvenience it may have caused.

ECFMG strives to maintain a high level of security and integrity in all of its communications, as evidenced by The ECFMG Reporter's more than 10-year history of delivering only timely, important information originating from ECFMG.

We continue to investigate the circumstances of the unauthorized message. At the same time, we are implementing additional measures to ensure that only information originating from and authorized by ECFMG is distributed via its e-newsletters. Additionally, we would like to assure you that:

- ECFMG will not share the subscriber list with third parties.
- Interested individuals can join or leave The ECFMG Reporter subscriber list or update their e-mail addresses at any time by visiting the ECFMG website at www.ecfmg.org/reporter .
